Job Title: Turbine Design Engineer Location: Derby – 3 days per week in the office Role Type: Contract – 12 months+ Rate: £35.00 - £40.00 per hour – OUTSIDE IR35
Our client, an established engineering consultancy operating in Derby, require an experienced Turbine Design Engineer to join their multi-disciplined team.
The successful candidate will have strong expertise in turbine design (ideally gas turbines) aerospace engines, and be familiar with relevant aerospace standards.
Candidates will need the existing right to live & work in the UK, and be able to obtain BPSS Security Clearance.
What the role of the Turbine Design Engineer entails: Some of the main duties of the Turbine Design Engineer will include: Executing Design and development projects Ensure compliance with aerospace industry standards, Collaborate with cross-functional teams in requirements capture and execution Stay updated on emerging tools, technologies, designs and manufacturing methods. Conduct analyses and contribute to innovating in New Product Introduction (NPI) programmes. Collaborate closely with Team Leaders of other departments and Project Management, to align project objectives.
