• Propose new development items and methodologies for improving tyre modelling and tyre performance

• Support simulator testing (primarily remote) as required to further tyre model development

• Support rig testing as appropriate, and post-process results to further tyre understanding

• Assist trackside engineers with pre- and post-event analysis, as required

• Influence overall car performance by collaborating with Design, Race Engineering, and Simulator teams on tyre performance impacts

Technical Skills Required:

• Strong theoretical understanding of tyre and vehicle dynamics

• Experience developing and maintaining tyre models, ideally thermo-mechanical models

• Proficiency in at least one high-level programming language (e.g., MATLAB, Python)

• Knowledge of rig testing relating to tyres (preferred but not essential)

• Familiarity with lap time simulation software (e.g., Canopy) (preferred but not essential)

Skills Required:

• Self-motivated to develop, drive, and deliver race car performance

• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced team environment
