Job Title: Undergraduate Submarines Electrical Engineer
Location: Barrow (Cumbria)
We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements, however for this role you will be expected to attend your site 3-5 days per week.
Salary: £24,300
What you’ll be doing:
You’ll be part of a growing multi-disciplinary team, developing solutions to complex technical questions, and in-service upgrades, for existing and future Submarine platforms within the Engineering function.
• From requirements and control architecture develop instrumentation equipment selection, integration, test and through life support you will be embedded amongst experts in the control systems field.
• Contributing to high integrity designs with your base knowledge of electrical principals, control systems theory and/or knowledge of micro-electronics.
• Calculations to considered reports on component selection to designs for Human Machine Interfaces.
• Analysis of impacts on Control systems due to Engineering Change with focus on safe effective product.
