Job Title: Undergraduate Electronic Systems Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Rochester (Kent)
We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements, however for this role you will be expected to attend your site 5 days per week.
Salary: £24,300
What you’ll be doing:
• Supporting the production of appropriate department documentation, such as planning documents and training material.
• Liaising with other technical departments (i.e technicians, machine shop, new product introduction) to resolve manufacturing challenges or for planning purposes
• Day to day support of our manufacturing cells including continuous improvement of cell layouts and processes.
• Understanding the importance of a Quality first mindset and some of the Quality tools we use (i.e auditing, non-conformance, concessions).
• Developing ad-hoc skills around tooling design, supporting additive manufacturing (i.e 3D printing) and CAD skills (AutoCAD, CREO).
• Running and management of the 3D print facility.
