We are growing our Urban Highways team in Scotland and are seeking a Senior Design Engineer / Principal Engineer to assist in the delivery of Urban Highways and Active Travel Infrastructure. Role Accountabilities

Urban Highways / Active Travel / Sustainable Travel focused engineering design and design management Commercial, programme and quality management of projects Mentoring engineers, technicians and apprentices to assist with development of skills within the team Managing work undertaken through Global Excellence Centres in India Assisting with business development through tenders, proposals and client presentation (internal and external clients) Qualifications and Experience

Career driven to assist with succession planning. The candidate would be a Senior Engineer or Principal Engineer keen to progress to the next level CEng / IEng status or verifiable progress towards CEng / IEng status Able to manage a portfolio of Active Travel / Sustainable Travel projects at varying stages of development and with different clients Can clearly demonstrate sound experience of urban highway design and design management CAD and 3D modelling skills in a BIM environment will be an advantage Can demonstrate sound experience of working for local authorities and/or developers and show an understanding of their objectives and key performance indicators Good coaching and staff supervision skills Commercial awareness to assist with profitable delivery of projects Why Arcadis?
