Our client, a leading organisation in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking an Electronics Design Engineer to join their team on a 12-month contract basis. This role is based at Broad Oak with hybrid working arrangements for 3 to 4 days a week. The position demands a skilled engineer with a strong background in electronics engineering, specifically within maritime services.

Key Responsibilities:

Designing and developing electronic systems for maritime applications

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure systems meet defence and security standards

Conducting detailed analyses and simulations to evaluate system performance

Providing technical support and troubleshooting throughout the project lifecycle

Documenting design processes and outcomes for future reference and auditing

Ensuring compliance with relevant engineering standards and regulations

Job Requirements:

Experience in electronics engineering,

Proficient in electronic design and development tools

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively
