We are looking for a talented and driven Vehicle Architecture Lead Engineer to join our team on a contract basis, based in Warwick. This role is central to the engineering integration process across vehicle architectures, ensuring technical excellence and future competitiveness of our products.

Key Responsibilities

* Design and develop vehicle technical specifications and attributes across multiple architectures.

* Lead resolution of complex, cross-functional engineering challenges, balancing competing requirements to deliver optimal solutions.

* Analyse current and emerging technologies, as well as competitor products, to influence strategic direction.

* Coach, review, and delegate tasks to junior engineers.

* Solve difficult and often complex engineering problems with a strategic and collaborative approach.

Essential Skills & Experience

* Strong knowledge of whole vehicle engineering and cross-functional systems.

* Passion for vehicle development and innovation.

* Excellent communication skills with the ability to interpret and convey technical information.

* Proficiency in IT tools such as presentations and spreadsheets.

* Full UK driving licence.

Desirable Skills

* Experience in whole vehicle development and validation.

* Familiarity with problem-solving methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma).

* Proven track record in leading technical issue resolution.
