Vehicle Engineer (Nights) – Putney – Go-Ahead London

Go-Ahead London, the capital’s largest bus operator, is seeking a Night Vehicle Engineer to join our Putney garage. This role supports reliable maintenance to deliver a service that Londoners can trust.

Responsibilities

• Provide reliable and effective maintenance for HGV/PCV vehicles to ensure a performan ce-ready fleet
• Work a night shift (38 hours per week) including weekends and Bank Holidays as required
• Be a forward-looking, flexible, and adaptable team member in a dynamic bus operation

Qualifications

• City & Guilds Level 2 or NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent)
• Experience working on HGV or PCV vehicles
• Hold a PCV licence (if not, training will be provided)

Pay and Benefits

• Rate of pay: GV14, currently £966.32 per week
• Benefits include a pension scheme, 20 days holiday, and a travel pass for London Buses and the Tube Network
