We are excited to welcome a future team member for the role of Vice President, Release Train Engineer to join our dynamic team in Manchester – Hybrid.

About the Role

The Release Train Engineer (RTE) serves as a servant leader and coach within our Platform Operating Model. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Facilitating and organizing medium to large-scale planning events that align multiple Agile teams on development projects.
• Helping teams meet their goals and deliver exceptional value.
• Communicating effectively with leadership, stakeholders, and business owners while escalating impediments as needed.
• Managing risks and dependencies to ensure alignment between strategy and execution.
• Driving continuous improvement and integration across teams.
• Coaching leaders, teams, and Scrum Leaders in Agile methodologies.
• Optimizing program flow and facilitating large-scale planning events.
• Aggregating Team PI Objectives into Program PI Objectives.
• Tracking and reporting status to ensure value delivery.

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, we seek candidates who have:

• A Bachelor’s degree in business or a technical-related discipline (advanced degree preferred).
• Experience providing consulting advice to senior IT and business management; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
• A strong understanding of Lean-Agile principles, practices, frameworks, and methods.
• Effective facilitation and teaching skills.
• Coaching and mentoring abilities, with a clear distinction between the two.
• The capability to drive decisions and resolve conflicts across multiple parties.
• Strong problem-solving skills and experience running agile projects of varying size and complexity.
