Water Hygiene Engineer

Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 (DOE) Location: North East England Start Date: Immediate

Penguin Recruitment is hiring on behalf of an industry-leading water treatment company with 35+ years of experience. We're seeking an experienced Water Hygiene Engineer with a minimum of 5 years in the field to join their team.

Responsibilities

* Conduct closed system analytical testing, remediation, and pre-commission flushing. * Perform tank inspections, water sampling, and ACOP L8 compliance tasks. * Clean/disinfect water storage tanks, cooling towers, and shower heads. * Service/install water softeners (Clack, Fleck, Autotrol) and RO systems. * Carry out TMV testing, calorifier pasteurisation, and dead leg removals.

Requirements

* 5+ years' experience in water treatment/hygiene. * Relevant water hygiene qualifications and technical knowledge. * Full UK driving license. * Proactive and organised with excellent communication skills. * Flexibility to travel and work overtime as needed.
