Job Opportunity: Pre-Commissioning Engineer – Water Hygiene\nLocation: London & Surrounding Areas (field-based)\nSalary: £30,000 – £38,000 (DOE) + Overtime + Vehicle + Benefits\nEmployment Type: Full-Time, Permanent\n\nWe are recruiting for an experienced Pre-Commissioning Engineer to join a leading water hygiene and treatment specialist, delivering high-quality services across commercial and industrial sites in London and the South East.\n\nThis is an exciting opportunity for a skilled engineer with a strong background in pre-commission cleaning of closed water systems to join a forward-thinking company that values expertise, safety, and progression.\n\nThe Role:\nAs a Pre-Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out BSRIA-compliant flushing, chlorination, and water quality testing of closed heating and chilled water systems on construction and retrofit projects.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * \n\n Carry out pre-commission cleaning (BSRIA BG29/2021)\n\n * \n\n Flushing and dosing of closed-loop heating and chilled systems\n\n * \n\n Conduct water sampling and testing (pH, conductivity, biocide levels, etc.)\n\n * \n\n Disinfection of water systems in accordance with ACOP L8 and HSG274\n\n * \n\n Produce detailed site reports and flushing certification\n\n * \n\n Work with project teams and site managers to ensure delivery to specification\n\n * \n\n Maintain high standards of health & safety on site\n\nRequirements:\n\n * \n\n Proven experience in pre-commissioning and water treatment of closed systems\n\n * \n\n Familiarity with BSRIA guidelines (BG29 & BG50)\n\n * \n\n CSCS card (essential)\n\n * \n\n NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Mechanical/Plumbing ()\n\n * \n\n Full UK driving licence\n\n * \n\n Strong attention to detail and report writing skills\n\n * \n\n Willingness to travel to various sites across London and the surrounding areas\n\nWhat’s On Offer:\n\n * \n\n Competitive salary (£32,000 – £40,000 depending on experience)\n\n * \n\n Company vehicle + fuel card\n\n * \n\n Paid travel time and overtime opportunities\n\n * \n\n 25 days holiday + bank holidays\n\n * \n\n Pension scheme\n\n * \n\n Full PPE and equipment provided\n\n * \n\n Ongoing training and career progression\n\nInterested?\nIf you’re a skilled Pre-Commissioning Engineer looking to join a dynamic and growing team, we’d love to hear from you.\n\nApply now with your CV or get in touch for a confidential discussion
