Your new company Weekend Maintenance Engineer is a new role with our multi-site client based in County Armagh. You are joining a huge NI-based employer with multiple sites, and you will be based at their Co Armagh plant in FMCG processing and packaging. The company has decades of experience and produces one of the highest end products in this range, so standards and investment are high. They have a plan to continue investment in line with longer-term plans and this represents an opportunity to join a tight-knit team working through that exciting journey and directed by a strong and knowledgeable management team. The company is very people-centric and offers stability and nurturing in the role. Your new role Working 36 hours over Friday, Saturday and Sunday in preventative and reactive production maintenance. You will offer mufti skilled maintenance support. Working 36 hours means you can work overtime mid-week and get to the overtime rate of time and a half quicker. The team is circa 10, and you are supported by improvements by engineers working on preventative-focused maintenance for a longer-term fix on issues. What you'll need to succeed The working hours are Friday, Saturday and Sunday 12-hour shifts, so this will need to suit you, and you will need some level of mufti skilled ability. What you'll get in return The hourly working week is 36 hours, so you get to time and a half quicker, equal to 33 days annual leave, healthcare, life assurance, 8% total pension.
