We are now seeking to recruit Welding Engineer to work for a busy manufacturing company based in Lydney.  The appropriate Welding Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that all welding operations adhere to relevant industry standards, such as ISO 3834, EN 1090, etc

Responsibilities:

Verifying that welders are qualified to perform specific welding tasks and that welding procedures are properly documented and followed. Ensure compliance with CE marking/UKCA requirements and other relevant regulations. Develop and maintain Welding Procedure Specifications (WPSs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Oversees day-to-day welding operations, ensuring that all work is performed according to approved procedures and standards. Planning and managing complex welding-related work orders. Testing welder qualification, ensuring that welders possess the necessary skills and knowledge. Driving continuous improvement in welding processes, seeking ways to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety Requirement:

Understanding and applying relevant standards like ISO 3834 or EN 1090 and having the ability to develop and review welding procedure specifications.
