: Active Directory Engineer 3 month contract Inside IR35 Remote Overview We are seeking an experienced Active Directory engineer for an initial 3-month contract. This fully remote role is focused on a critical cleanup project to enhance our security posture. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Active Directory and Azure security best practices. Key Responsibilities Audit and Tidy: Perform a comprehensive audit and cleanup of existing security groups within Active Directory (AD). Group Management: Identify and remove or modify security groups that are no longer in use, including those related to an email sub-brand that no longer exists. Security Enhancement: Implement best practices for security group management to reduce security risks and improve administrative efficiency. Documentation: Document all changes made to the AD and Azure environments. Required Qualifications Experience: Proven experience in a similar role with a focus on Active Directory and Azure security. Technical Skills: Strong technical proficiency in managing and securing Active Directory environments. Azure Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of Azure and its security features. Attention to Detail: Meticulous and detail-oriented approach to auditing and modifying security configurations. Communication: Excellent communication skills for documenting work and providing updates.
