Help build and keep the nation's critical infrastructure connected and protected 24/7. \n Reporting to the Reliability & Obsolescence Manager, the Workshop Engineer will be responsible for the testing, diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of Rail Communication equipment. This role requires strong analytical skills, hands-on experience with electronic diagnostic tools, and the ability to work independently to troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues. \n This is role requires someone to be in our workshop in Canning Town (London) 5 days per week. \n What you’ll do: \n \n Perform component-level troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair of electronic devices and circuit boards. \n Use oscilloscopes, multi-meters, soldering equipment, and other diagnostic tools to evaluate and repair hardware. \n Analyse root causes of equipment failures and implement corrective actions. \n Maintain accurate repair records, test results, and documentation of work performed. \n Collaborate with engineering teams to provide feedback on recurring issues or product design improvements.
