The Business
A busy construction plant operation is expanding its workshop team due to continued workload growth.
The workshop supports a large fleet of earthmoving equipment and offers a structured environment with strong technical support and development opportunities.
The Role
This is a workshop-based engineering role focused on servicing, repairs and preparation of heavy plant machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
Pre-delivery inspections of new machines
Routine servicing and planned maintenance
Fault-finding and mechanical repairs
Major component replacement and machine modifications
Supporting apprentices within the workshop
Completing accurate job sheets and documentation
Maintaining high health and safety standardsAbout You
NVQ Level 3 in a relevant engineering discipline (or Level 2 working towards Level 3)
Experience working on heavy plant preferred
HGV or agricultural backgrounds considered
Strong mechanical and hydraulic fault-finding skills
Comfortable working in a team-based workshop environment
Full UK driving licenceWhat’s on Offer
