We have an exciting opportunity for a Workshop Repair Engineer to join our engineering team at our Depot in London East.

As a Workshop Repair Engineer, you will be responsible for repairing depot fleet assets to company and legislative standards.

Responsibilities include:

Support the Workshop Service Manager in the effective running of the depot workshop, ensuring that machine repair KPIs are maintained at manageable levels.
Undertake routine and complex repairs to machines at the depot to ensure conformance with manufacturer specifications and company policies.
Work with the depot team to keep the quantity and downtime of machines under repair as low as possible, in line with depot KPIs.
Act as an ambassador for the company, providing high standards of customer care and professionalism. Relay customer queries to depot staff as needed.
Accurately complete all relevant paperwork using the company's engineering systems.
Update the system on machine status changes, such as PDI/PHI, repairs, or inspections.
Ensure compliance with Quality, Health & Safety standards and policies.

Ideal candidate will have:

IPAF Operator Licence
Relevant engineering maintenance qualification, preferably NVQ level 3 or equivalent
Experience with complex engineering repairs
A mature outlook with good prioritization skills and ability to work under pressure
Excellent customer service skills
Experience in diesel engineering, auto electrics, hydraulics, and fault diagnostics
Basic proficiency with operating systems like L-Vis
Ability to complete basic administrative tasks related to the role
