Areti Group has partnered with a technology agnostic company who are URGENTLY looking to add to their rapidly growing software engineering team before the end of the year. Our client has offices based throughout the UK and offers the option of being office based or FULLY REMOTE working for this role.

Responsibilities

• As a Software Engineer, join one of our small, fast-paced, agile delivery teams; using agile methodology and DevOps techniques to build backend systems, data processing pipelines, and progressive web apps for customers in the UK Government and Defense sector.
• Implement software solutions including design, development and testing.
• Use a wide range of technologies, specialising in open source libraries and components.
• Use tools such as GitLab to build continuous integration pipelines, which help monitor and ensure software quality and security.
• Work within a mixture of environments - AWS and Azure - and private cloud.
• Full software lifecycle involvement: project concept formalisation; requirements analysis and specification; software architecture design; software implementation and delivery; software training and support and software lifecycle and maintenance.
• Opportunities to speak directly with clients.

Salary & Benefits

Salary range is £40k - £80k depending on experience. Mid-Senior & Principal Level Engineers required. Plus an amazing benefits package.

Requirements / Qualifications

• British Citizenship or British Passport holder with residence in the UK for the past 5 years; able to obtain SC Clearance or already hold SC Clearance.
• Willingness to work in a role requiring UK Government and Defense sector security considerations.
