A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated 2nd Line Support Engineer to join a growing IT support team based on-site in Fareham, providing service desk and infrastructure support for a major defence education facility.

Key Responsibilities of a 2nd Line Support Engineer: Respond to and resolve Service Desk tickets in line with SLAs and internal procedures Provide support for Windows 10, Windows Server 2016/2019, and core Microsoft technologies Support and troubleshoot issues relating to Active Directory, Group Policy, and SCCM Work with Hyper-V and/or VMware to support virtualised infrastructure Assist in deploying, imaging, and maintaining end-user devices and software Contribute to documentation, process improvements, and project-based technical work Uphold security protocols and follow relevant policies related to access and configuration Skills and Experience required:
