We are looking to recruit an Advanced Engineer (HGV Technician Level 3) to join our Engineering team, working a shift pattern of 4 nights on and 4 nights off. You will have half of the year to yourself unless you choose to work voluntary overtime to further boost the highly competitive wages that are on offer. 5 day shifts are also available.Application Deadline: 4 November 2025Department: EngineeringLocation: Twickenham DepotCompensation: £28.28 / hourResponsibilitiesInspecting, repairing and maintaining our buses.Investigating and diagnosing mechanical and electronic faults.Recording faults and the work carried out to fix them using a tablet.Following safety instructions and reporting any issues.Qualifications and SkillsHave at least an NVQ or City and Guilds level 3 qualification for maintenance and repair of public service vehicles or heavy goods vehicles (or an equivalent international qualification).OR at least five years’ experience repairing and maintaining public service or heavy goods vehicles (evidence required).If you do not currently hold an IRTEC in service maintenance technician, inspection technician and advanced technician, training will be provided.PCV licence is desired but not essential.
