You will gain experience in a role that supports the design, manufacture and in-service performance of aircraft, while exploring opportunities across multiple departments.What you will be doingNonlinear Finite Element Analysis (FEA) of Wing Structure, to support in-service issues.Nonlinear “Virtual Test” simulations to support Aircraft Research programmes and Early Development programmes.Use of advanced numerical simulation packages such as Abaqus, 3DX, Hyperworks and Nastran.Learn to identify and simulate the physics of aircraft structural behaviour and develop the engineering judgement to understand simulation results.Learn about Airbus aircraft, their design, manufacture and in-service support.Gain experience in other departments (Research, Design, Materials, Structures Test, Aerodynamics and Manufacturing).Your development pathway includes a minimum of one rotational placement to support growth into the position of a Nonlinear Structural Analysis Engineer.What we are looking forA degree level or equivalent within a relevant field of study.Recently graduated or first professional experience in the field of Structures Analysis.Strong verbal and written communication in English.A desire to work in a collaborative team environment, focused on driving future innovation.The ability to be self-aware and a wish to be in the driving seat of your development.Please note, you may submit only one application to the Airbus Global Graduate Programme.Recruitment processOnline application → Online Task Based Assessment → Application Review (Talent Acquisition Partner & Manager) → Virtual Assessment Centre → Offer.NB: Applications will close 30 September.
