An Azure Cloud Engineer (Azure, Terraform, DevOps, Infrastructure, IaC) is needed by a large enterprise pushing hard into Azure cloud. This is a hands-on role with technical leadership responsibilities – perfect for someone ready to step up and take ownership of modernising infrastructure across a complex platform.
You must have:
Strong infrastructure background from an enterprise environment Solid experience with Azure IaaS/PaaS and PowerShell scripting Project leadership or clear evidence of technical ownership Hands-on experience with Terraform and Azure DevOps pipelines Experience deploying Windows VMs and SQL-based apps in Azure This is a career-defining role for someone ready to lead. You'll be supported through Azure and Terraform certifications, and given ownership of moving the estate to full Infrastructure as Code – it’s currently 50% and your job is to take it to 90%+.
The role: Split between BAU and project delivery (50/50). You’ll handle Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, automation around certs, patching, and WAF updates. On the project side, you’ll migrate Azure Front Door, deploy new apps to Windows VMs, and build VPN gateways. You’ll lead the shift to full IaC using Terraform and Azure DevOps, and play a key part in shaping the platform’s future.
