Role: BMS Engineer - Design
Location: London - Hybrid working
Duration: 12 month initial contract
Pay Rate: £400-£450 P/day OUTSIDE IR35
The BMS design engineer should fully understand the engineering requirements of building control systems for a range of building types, varying in complexity. Candidates will need a thorough understanding of both mechanical and electrical building systems and be able to work autonomously. The role will require experience of interpreting customer specifications to develop comprehensive designs and scope packages for individual disciplines including panel design, hardware configuration, field equipment, software configuration, graphic packages as well as installation and commissioning scope. Candidates must also be prepared to work flexibly as part of the team and be pro-active with modern technologies and best practice.
Applicants should have engineering skills as detailed below:
Electrical and Mechanical systems and plant knowledge, BMS system design - Development of the full design from initial scope to handover documentation, Author BMS control system strategy documents, BMS hardware and software architecture development and best practice, Preferably have knowledge of leading manufactures equipment/systems i.e. Siemens, Honeywell, Trend etc. Competence
