Overview

Building Maintenance Engineer role at Integral UK Ltd.

Responsibilities

• Weekly & monthly planned maintenance tasks as scheduled (fire alarm tests, water temperature recording, emergency lighting tests, etc).
• Monthly utilities meter readings.
• First line response to reactive repairs.
• Relamping of defective lighting.
• Minor building fabric repairs – basic carpentry, carpet tiling, locks.
• Minor decorating tasks.
• Minor plumbing repairs.
• General office cleaning as scheduled for remote sites.
• Supporting external landscaping and cleaning as required.
• Adhoc porterage duties (moves and changes, furniture management and moves, etc.).
• Maintain accurate documentation of all assigned work orders.
• Comply fully with Health, Safety and Environmental policies.
• Provide excellent customer service to building occupants, ensuring they are informed of work order progress in a timely manner.
• Proactively walk the floors, reporting any maintenance or H&S issues to the helpdesk and appropriate manager.

What we are looking for / Qualifications

You'll need experience within a similar position in a maintenance environment, holding relevant qualifications (e.g., time-served apprenticeship, C&G or equivalent). Knowledge of toolbox talks, Permit to Work procedures and safe systems of work. Ability to perform manual tasks, including manual handling and working at heights. Good verbal and written communication and computer skills.

Experience

• Experience in a similar position within a maintenance environment.
• Experience in Facilities Management industries.
• Good Health and Safety awareness and knowledge.
