Job Title: CAD Engineer (Permanent)

Salary: 30-35k

Location: Oldham, Greater Manchester

Kinetic Plc are working in partnership with a leading manufacturing business, to recruit a talented Mechanical CAD Engineer for their manufacturing facility based in Oldham, Greater Manchester.

The CAD Engineer role is a permanent position paying up to 35k per annum on days Monday to Friday.

Role Overview:

The successful candidate will join a dedicated engineering team, contributing to the design and development of highly secure mechanical and electromechanical components.

Key Responsibilities:

* Producing accurate 2D and 3D technical drawings using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).

* Supporting the development of new and existing product designs.

* Collaborating with engineers and production teams to ensure designs are manufacture ready and meet stringent quality standards.

* Assisting with documentation for prototypes, testing procedures and certifications.

* Managing engineering drawing files and maintaining up-to-date records of product configurations.

Candidate Requirements:

* Proven experience using 3D CAD software (ideally Inventor or SolidWorks) in a mechanical engineering environment.

* Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and materials (particularly metals and precision components).

* High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
