Freelance Chartered Structural Engineer - High-Rise Residential (London) Location: London (Multiple Sites) Contract Type: Freelance / Consultancy Start Date: ASAP Duration: Ongoing / Project-Based Responsibilities

Lead structural design and analysis for high-rise residential buildings Review and approve structural drawings, calculations, and reports Conduct site inspections and advise on structural matters during construction Collaborate with architects, developers, and contractors Ensure designs comply with UK building regulations, Eurocodes, and relevant standards Provide expert input on value engineering and buildability Qualifications

Chartered Engineer (CEng MICE or MIStructE) Strong experience in high-rise residential structures (RC frame essential) Proficient in structural design software (e.g. Tekla, ETABS, Robot, Tedds) Excellent communication and client-facing skills Based in or able to travel regularly within London This vacancy is being advertised on behalf of Approach Personnel Ltd that is operating as an employment business.
