CHP Engineer

Location: Wigan & Surrounding

Salary: £40,000 to £47,500 + (OTE £50,000+) + Vehicle + Bonus

The Role

The day to day role will be the service, maintenance and repair of large internal combustion engines on one or multiple sites. You will work alongside experienced Operations Engineers who can train & develop you to progress into a similar role. The role has a lot of responsibility as these engines are required as back up to the grid. The business also operates a call out rota, you will only be put on this rota when experienced enough to carry out reactive maintenance solely.

Responsibilities include:

• Service, maintenance and repair of CHP Power Units - Jenbacher, MTU, Cummins, Caterpillar
• Covering multiple sites across the region
• Call out & overtime as required

The Candidate

• Qualified Engineer
• CHP maintenance experience
• Strong mechanical or electrical knowledge
• Willing to do overtime & call out
