CHP Engineer

Location: Wigan & Surrounding

Salary: £40,000 to £47,500 + (OTE £50,000+) + Vehicle + Bonus.

Innotech are currently recruiting for one of the UK's fastest growing businesses within the renewables industry. They are looking for multiple engineers to service, maintain and repair large internal combustion engines or the power industry. The role supports the grid by keeping engines available as a back up source of power.

The ideal candidate has experience with either mechanical or electrical systems working alongside engines. The role would suit someone from ex-forces, generators, plant, marine or CHP backgrounds.

The day-to-day role will be the service, maintenance and repair of large internal combustion engines on one or multiple sites, working alongside experienced Operations Engineers who can train and develop you to progress into a similar role.

The business operates a call-out rota; you will be placed on the rota only when experienced enough to carry out reactive maintenance.

The Role

Service, maintenance and repair of CHP Power Units – Jenbacher, MTU, Cummins, Caterpillar.

Covering multiple sites across the region.

Call out & overtime.

The Candidate

• Qualified Engineer
• CHP maintenance experience
• Strong mechanical or electrical knowledge
• Happy to do overtime & call out

Benefits

• £200 per week for being on call - 1 in 6
• Bonus dependent on performance

• Overtime (£3,000 to £7,000 annually)
