Job Title: Civil Design Engineer

Location: Exeter, Brighton, Birmingham, Bristol, London, Newcastle, Liverpool (Hybrid)

Contract Type: Inside IR35

Start Date: ASAP

About the Role:

We are looking for Civil Design Engineers to join our team on a variety of projects across the water sector. You will work on infrastructure, non-infrastructure, clean water, and wastewater schemes, delivering high-quality designs across multiple frameworks.

Key Frameworks:

STW (Severn Trent Water)

Thames Water

Anglian Water

Southern Water

South West Water

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and develop civil design drawings and calculations.

Support project teams across multiple frameworks and locations.

Ensure compliance with technical standards, company procedures, and client requirements.

Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver design solutions.

Assist with technical reviews, reports, and project documentation.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Civil Design Engineer within the water or related sectors.

Experience across infrastructure, non-infrastructure, clean water, and/or wastewater projects.

Strong technical knowledge of civil engineering design standards and principles.

Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
