Overview

Spencer Rose Limited is partnering with a leading Financial Services organisation to recruit a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Support Engineer on a permanent basis. The role focuses on supporting the AWS Public Cloud infrastructure and influencing Infrastructure as Code implementations using Terraform.

Salary - 85,000 + Discretionary Bonus

Hybrid working - 2 days per week (Central London)

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the reliability and security of cloud hosted environments.
  • Document and regularly review risks within the AWS cloud environment.
  • Maintain service resilience for all cloud hosted services, including backup and disaster recovery processes.

Required skills and experience

  • At least 3 years of experience supporting an AWS cloud hosted environment.
  • Strong technical understanding of Terraform and Ansible.
  • Knowledge of at least one programming language such as Python (preferred).
  • Experience in Financial Services, Insurance or Banking sectors.
