NEW Job Opportunity - Methods Engineer - Initial 12 Month Outside IR35 Contract
Our Client has a requirement for a Construction Methods Engineer, who will be required to work on a Contract basis in Kingston Upon Thames, Surrey.
Contract: Initial 12 Month Contract
IR35 Status: Outside IR35
Hybrid: 3 days office, 2 days home with occasional trips on site
Purpose of the position: As Construction Methods Engineer you will join our client’s carbon capture project. You will ensure that all the Fabrication & Construction methods activities are properly carried out, ensuring the required level of HSE & Quality while meeting budget constraints.
How can you support us? Here below your responsibilities:
Develop methods procedures, supervise assigned draftsmen and external subcontractors, ensuring that deliverables, equipment, facilities and services meet specified requirements Ensure full compliance with international standards and challenge clients' requirements when required for the benefit of the project
Interface with the Construction methods department (draftsmen, engineers) and the Construction & Subcontracting department (e.g. construction managers & engineers), project teams, MWS & clients During bid & early EPC phase, assist the Construction Methods Lead in preparing requests for quotation & technical bid evaluations for the activities pertaining to SME's domain of expertise Participate in site visits, sup...
