Job Description:

We're looking for an experienced Infrastructure Automation Engineer to join a fast-growing SME to support an ongoing project.

Day rate: £525 per day Outside IR35

Location: Farnborough (3 to 4 days per week on-site)

Clearance: Must hold or be eligible for SC; DV clearance will be required

You will be working within a cross-functional team to support and enhance a secure cloud platform, focusing on automating operational processes, managing virtualized infrastructure, and ensuring system observability.

Please note: This is not a QA or Test Automation role. We are looking for engineers with hands-on infrastructure, DevOps, and platform automation experience.

• Experience with VMware Cloud Foundation or Proxmox.
• Familiar with orchestration tools like Aria Automation Suite or Rundeck.
• Strong system administration background across both Windows and Linux environments.
• Skilled in PowerShell, Bash, and SQL scripting.
• Hands-on with IaC tools: Terraform, Ansible, Salt.
• Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab.
• Strong understanding of API development and system integration (e.g., RESTful APIs, Swagger).
• Solid grasp of networking and database administration.
