OverviewReporting Line: Cyber Engineering LeadContract type: PermanentGrade: 3BLocation: Wood Street, LondonWhat to expectThe Cyber Security Engineer will be responsible for delivering new security capabilities to improve the overall security posture of Post Office. As an equal opportunity employer, we value and celebrate the differences among our people, ensuring that our practices reflect our dedication to inclusivity and equal representation for all.What you'll need to succeedA good understanding of cyber security concepts and systems/solutions such as IDM, EDR, DLP, SIEM, DDOS etc.Understanding of security operational services: unified threat management, IDM, DDOS, threat and vulnerability management, DLPFamiliarity with enterprise security controls and security best practices for Windows, Linux, and Mac systems or similarAn understanding of network infrastructure such as VPNs, firewalls, switches, routers, LANs, Intrusion Detection, vulnerability scanning etc.Understanding of the Cyber Kill Chain and MITRE ATT&CKExcellent self-motivation skillsStrong communication skills (both written and oral) and interpersonal skills at all levelsUnderstanding of wider implications of the Cyber Security team to the future success of Post OfficeA keen interest in cyber security with enthusiasm for staying up to date with the latest trends.About usPost Office is a community staple.
