What you can expect

  • Work to agile best practices and collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders; apply your technical skills to problem-solve for clients and internal projects.
  • Live in-person whiteboarding sessions and asynchronous communication on Teams.
  • Hybrid working with client site or office, typically two days per week, with variation by role or assignment (up to five days on client sites).
  • Work in a values-driven environment focused on inclusion and excellence in digital delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deploy production data pipelines from ingestion to consumption within a big data architecture using Java, Python, Scala, Spark, SQL; tasks include scripting, API data extraction, and SQL querying.
  • Data cleaning, wrangling, visualization and reporting; select and apply tools for efficient data processing.
  • Design and implement AWS cloud architectures, including PaaS, and potentially serverless and container technologies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders in a fast-paced environment and solve problems analytically.

Qualifications

  • Essential: Experience designing and deploying production data pipelines in a big data environment using Java, Python, Scala, Spark, SQL; includes scripting, API data extraction and SQL querying.
  • Knowledge of data cleaning, wrangling, visualization and reporting; familiarity with tools to support these tasks.
  • Experience designing and working with AWS cloud architectures, including PaaS components and possibly serverless/container technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

Assessment process

  • Initial quick call with a Tech Recruiter to discuss the application and role.
  • Round 1: Competency or technical interview (60 mins).
  • Round 2: Competency or technical interview (60 mins).
  • Final round: Meeting with a PA leader, including a mini case study and discussion around client-centricity (60 mins).
