RED Global are currently looking for a Data Engineer to work on a project with us in Belfast, Northern Ireland, United Kingdom. This position will be a contract opportunity offering an initial 6 month contract + likely extensions and will require someone who is available to work hybrid (3 days a week) on site.

We are looking for skills in the following:

• At least 5 years of experience with a focus on large-scale distributed computing systems
• Proficient in Python/PySpark for building and optimizing complex data pipelines
• Experience with AWS (preferred), Azure or GCP
• Proficiency in SQL(Spark SQL preferred) for data querying and manipulation
• Extensive knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ELT techniques
• Experienced with Scrum and Agile development approaches
