Design Engineer Our client a leading Engineer company based in Derry/Londonderry is in search of an experiencedDesign Engineer to join their team. Top things to know about this company Annual pay reviews Career progression plans Flexible working Innovating and exciting projects Main Responsibilities: Designing an innovate range of products from concept to completion Develop detailed engineering drawings for manufacturing, aligned to the companys production processes and machinery Use CAD design software to create models and drawings of products As appropriate, to research and keep up to date with new materials, parts and methods of deployment Organise and maintain engineering records Ensure components and designs meet applicable industry and business standards Liaise with manufacturing to ensure that products are manufactured according to the drawing and designs, and to provide design engineering advice as required Essential Criteria Mechanical Engineering Degree or related. Minimum of 3 years experience in a design role in the engineering industry Ability to create CAD drawings with good geometric dimensioning and tolerance strategy. Experience of SolidWorks. Effectively communicates in both written and verbal business development discussions. Previous experience working within a multidisciplinary team. What will we do for you?
