As a DevSecOps Engineer, you will support the development and operations teams by embedding security best practices into the platform infrastructure. You will be crucial in automating security controls, managing cloud environments, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. This hands-on role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior engineering leadership on strategic cloud architecture decisions and infrastructure automation. Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage scalable infrastructure using Terraform for secure cloud provisioning. Ensure cloud environments meet ISO and SOC compliance standards. Collaborate with security teams to uphold security best practices across platforms. Deploy and manage containerized applications with Docker and orchestration tools. Maintain observability tools (e.g., DataDog, Splunk, New Relic) for system monitoring. Lead incident response and establish reliable monitoring and incident management workflows. Optimize CI/CD pipelines using automation tools such as GitHub Actions and Travis. Perform Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) duties to enhance availability, performance, and scalability. Support application deployment and performance monitoring in collaboration with developers. Administer and fine-tune cloud environments (AWS preferred, GCP acceptable). Qualifications:
Degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or related field. Proven experience in DevOps or DevSecOps roles, ideally as a sole engineer or part of a small team in high-pressure environments. Strong cloud platform experience, particularly with AWS. Familiarity with vulnerability management tools and security automation. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
