DevSecOps Engineer (Contract) Rate: £500 - £550 Duration: 6 months - Inside IR35 Location: 3 days onsite in Sheffield, Birmingham, or Edinburgh We are seeking an experienced DevSecOps Engineer to support automation-hosted services teams in strengthening their security posture. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in DevSecOps environments, who can provide both assessment and guidance without being directly responsible for remediation delivery. Key Responsibilities Assess security infrastructure across automation services, including cloud workstreams, Kubernetes, and on-premises environments.
Conduct in-depth security analyses to map the current security estate.
Create and plan remediation work processes (implementation will be handled by delivery teams).
Produce clear process documentation to support remediation activities.
Act as a subject matter expert within DevSecOps, providing insight and recommendations.
Skills & Experience Strong expertise in DevSecOps practices within complex technology environments.
Hands-on experience with automation services, Kubernetes, and/or hybrid on-prem/cloud infrastructure
