DevSecOps Engineer (Contract)Rate: £500 - £550Duration: 6 months - Inside IR35Location: 3 days onsite in Sheffield, Birmingham, or EdinburghWe are seeking an experienced DevSecOps Engineer to support automation-hosted services teams in strengthening their security posture. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in DevSecOps environments, who can provide both assessment and guidance without being directly responsible for remediation delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesAssess security infrastructure across automation services, including cloud workstreams, Kubernetes, and on-premises environments.Conduct in-depth security analyses to map the current security estate.Create and plan remediation work processes (implementation will be handled by delivery teams).Produce clear process documentation to support remediation activities.Act as a subject matter expert within DevSecOps, providing insight and recommendations.Skills & ExperienceStrong expertise in DevSecOps practices within complex technology environments.Hands-on experience with automation services, Kubernetes, and/or hybrid on-prem/cloud infrastructure.Proven ability to conduct security analysis, gap assessments, and threat modelling.Excellent documentation and process design skills.Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and technical teams. #J-18808-Ljbffr
