Drainage Engineer

Our Client has a requirement for a Drainage Engineer , who will be required to work on a 6 month contract basis in Matlock, Derbyshire Hybrid role - must be in client office 2 days per week 6 month contract with the potential to extend depending on workload and budget. Role Purpose: Manage cyclic, reactive, and planned works on the highway drainage network Undertake site inspections and surveys as required Support the collection and management of data relating to highway drainage assets Provide timely and appropriate responses to customer and service user enquiries Job Role Responsibilities: BTec Higher in Civil Engineering or equivalent, with relevant post-qualification experience Strong technical and practical problem-solving abilities Experience in highway drainage asset management and maintenance, or transferable skills from a similar field These roles will work closely with other services across the Highways Division to drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
