Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for an EC&I Design Engineer based in Widnes, with some work from home acceptable. The EC&I Design Engineer will be responsible for designing electrical control and instrumentation systems, developing detailed design packages, and creating technical documentation. The role includes collaborating with project teams, conducting site installations, managing commissioning, and ensuring projects meet high standards and customer expectations.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge in Electrical Control and Instrumentation (EC&I) design
• Proficiency in using design software tools
• Experience in developing detailed design packages and technical documentation
• Ability to manage site installations and commissioning activities
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with project teams
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
• Bachelor's degree or similar in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or related field
• Experience in the engineering consultancy industry is a plus
