This role plays a pivotal part in the development of Electric Drive Units (EDUs), a core component in our client’s electrification strategy.\n\nThe successful candidate will lead the EDU Geometric Integration team, ensuring the EDU is compatible with system-level requirements. You will manage a multidisciplinary team within an Agile framework, delivering geometric compatibility, entitlement to meet system performance requirements, and demonstrating quality through evidence-based engineering reviews.\n\nThis is an exciting opportunity to work on electrified driveline systems and help shape the future of electrification in the automotive industry.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\n * EDU Geometric Compatibility\n\n * Create and publish skeleton models to define EDU component architecture.\n\n * Regularly publish full assembly models in line with sprint cadence.\n\n * Manage EDU assembly design freeze in line with programme gateways.\n\n * Support vehicle package reviews and virtual build events.\n\n * Support virtual builds for rig setups.\n\n * Resolve Incompatibilities\n\n * Lead resolution of issues that span multiple component groups through integration design reviews.\n\n * Provide support for vehicle build issues.\n\n * EDU System Validation\n\n * Create test requests as defined by the DFMEA.\n\n * Compile and upload evidence and test reports to corporate repositories.\n\n * Complete evidence-based engineering reviews for EDU assemblies.\n\n * Labels Release\n\n * Design and release responsibility for EDU labels.\n\nSkills, Knowledge, and Experience\n\nEssential:\n\n * Strong experience with 3D modelling tools and techniques, ideally CATIA V6.\n\n * Good understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).\n\n * Proven knowledge and application of Agile product delivery methodology.\n\n * Demonstrable track record of delivering innovative design solutions.\n\n * Experience in project management and issue resolution.\n\n * Degree in a relevant engineering discipline, or equivalent professional experience.\n\nDesirable:\n\n * Prior experience in a Product Owner role.\n\n * Experience managing projects and backlogs using Confluence and JIRA.\n\n * Previous experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry.\n\n * Detailed knowledge of EDU design
