You will maintain our production and facilities within these areas and support and implement improvement projects as appropriate. The Automation Engineer will oversee the following systems:Electrical: High Voltage (HV) supply, distribution, and transformation network on site; Low Voltage (LV) systems; support to site technicians; breakdown resolution; support to Site Efficiency Targets.Automation: Strong understanding of PLC systems (primarily Siemens S7 series) and HMIs; troubleshooting and modifying code; managing external specialists; performing backups; maintaining automation systems including Safety PLCs, SCADA systems, and other PLC brands like B&R.Industrial Networking: Debugging and resolving network issues on machine-level networks (e.g., Profinet) and site-wide networks (TCP/IP, TSN); installing and maintaining systems; guiding others on VLAN configuration.Skills and Experience:Knowledge of internal standards related to HV and LV electrical, automation, networking, cybersecurity, and machinery safety.Experience in automation technology within FMCG environments; leadership and guidance skills for onsite technicians and contractors.Excellent communication skills; ability to tailor messages to different audiences.Ability to identify non-compliances and plan future improvements.Ability to assess safety risks and communicate effectively about safety-related activities.Provide guidance to project and engineering teams, including audits and project planning.Knowledge of water systems, water-saving projects, and facilities management including compressors, boilers, and gas systems.The closing date for applications is 22/08/25.
