Electrical Design Engineer Location: Dungannon Full-time | Permanent Salary: Negotiable Hays Engineering is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a leading GSE manufacturer based in Dungannon who are looking to recruit an Electrical Design Engineer on a permanent basis. Working hours are 41.5 hours per week.
Your new role Design and develop electrical circuit schematics, harnesses and panel layouts to applicable internal and industry standards and legislative requirements. Create technical documentation including design specifications, work instructions, parts list, list of critical parts and maintenance components. Conduct simulations and other engineering analyses to guide and verify designs and specify the electrical and electronic components for use in the vehicle system. Liaise with cross-departmental teams to fully realise design boundaries, helping to identify technical solutions to realise design and achieve 'right first time' approach. Develop electrical solutions by studying customer requirements, researching and testing components and determining overall system integration. Communicate requirements and work with PLC Software Engineers to develop control strategies for powertrain and driveline components and systems.
