Join a leading UK contractor delivering essential water and wastewater infrastructure projects. As a Design Engineer, you’ll play a key role in producing high-quality, technically sound designs that make a real impact. You’ll collaborate with experienced Design Managers and Leads, while also helping to guide and develop junior team members.
What You’ll Do

Deliver accurate, compliant, and efficient design solutions.
*
Work closely with project teams to develop cost-effective and sustainable designs.
*
Ensure all work meets client standards and health & safety requirements.
*
Support projects from concept through to construction.
*
Contribute to innovation and continuous improvement.
*
Provide guidance and support to graduate and assistant engineers.
What We’re Looking For
*
Degree-qualified in Engineering (or equivalent).
*
Skilled in AMTECH and AutoCAD/Draftsight.
*
Confident producing electrical design packs (cable calculations, diagrams, schedules, etc.).
*
Good knowledge of BS7671 (18th Edition) and NICEIC certification.
*
Strong communicator with solid problem-solving and organisational skills.
*
Commercially aware, with experience in design, contracting, or consulting.
*
