This role is offered on a fixed-term basis to support major production projects, with the strong likelihood of extension or transition to permanent employment.You will be part of a fast-paced, high-security environment focused on delivering high-precision print and packaging operations. This is ideal for a skilled engineer with a mechanical or electrical bias looking for a challenging and rewarding role in a technically complex setting.ResponsibilitiesPerform planned and reactive maintenance on production and packaging equipmentSupport the installation, commissioning, and handover of new machineryDiagnose faults and deliver quick, effective repairs to minimise downtimeLead and contribute to continuous improvement and reliability initiativesAnalyse machine data and breakdown trends to drive OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness)Maintain accurate maintenance records using a CMMS systemEnsure high standards of workmanship and compliance with health, safety, and environmental legislationOffer technical support and contribute to staff training when requiredCollaborate with the wider engineering and operations teams to enhance asset performanceQualificationsElectrical engineerNVQ Level 3 in Engineering or equivalent (HNC desirable)Experience working on hydraulic presses, printing presses, or similar complex machineryComfortable with mechanical systems: bearings, belts, chains, control panels, contactors, etc.Ability to interpret technical drawings and troubleshoot effectivelyPrevious experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or production environmentStrong communication and time management skillsMust be able to pass in-depth security clearance (5-year UK footprint essential)BenefitsCompetitive salary with review after 3-month probation25 days annual leave + bank holidaysPrivate healthcare and contributory pension (company contributes up to 9%)Sharesave SchemeCycle to Work SchemeSubsidised gym membershipEmployee Assistance Programme and additional staff perksAccess to internal training and development programmes #J-18808-Ljbffr
