Client: Working throughout several sectors including commercial, residential, education, and data centres. The business has seen growth in the last 5 years and aims to continue in 2025. It is a family-owned and run business, with many clients using them repeatedly.

Role: Electrical Project Engineer - Central London - £350-£400 per day CIS

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement, technical submittals and drawings on a commercial office fit out project.

Role/Responsibilities

  • Read, understand and scrutinise specifications
  • Assist with management of design stage
  • Procurement of sub-contractors, kits and plant
  • Assist with preparation of contract documents (e.g., Method Statements, Risk Assessments, RFIs)
  • Coordinate and manage direct labour
  • Instruct and coordinate site managers
  • Progress reporting
  • Overseeing commissioning and testing
  • Work with Quantity Surveyor on commercial accounts
  • Preparation of OMs for final project handover

The ideal candidate

  • Experience managing projects to a minimum of £5m Electrical value
  • A minimum 5 years’ experience in a management role
  • Ideally subcontracted to main contractors such as Multiplex, Mace, Lendlease and Kier
  • Must be technically astute and a good people manager
