Overview

Senior Electrical Project Engineer – London. £425-£500 per day | Immediate Start | Freelance Contract.

The Role

As Senior Electrical Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing the electrical packages from pre-construction through to project completion (PC), ensuring works are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.

• Overseeing the design development, coordination, and delivery of electrical systems.


• Managing subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants.


• Providing technical expertise and solutions during the pre-construction phase.


• Ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and client specifications.


• Monitoring progress, reporting to the Project Manager, and driving delivery.


• Supporting testing, commissioning, and handover activities.

About You

• Minimum HNC in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).


• Proven experience delivering large-scale M&E projects (£20m-£40m).


• Strong track record working across high-end residential, mixed-use, or commercial developments.


• Ability to manage projects from pre-construction through to completion.


• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a proactive and solutions-driven mindset
