Electrical Shift Engineer – Premier Skyscraper, City of London\n\nWe are looking for a talented and motivated Electrical Shift Engineer to join the engineering team at one of London’s most prestigious high-rise commercial buildings, just moments from Liverpool Street Station.\n\nThis is an exciting opportunity for an electrically qualified engineer with a solid background in building services maintenance, looking to work in a critical environment and take the next step in their career.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on all electrical systems across the site\n\n * Diagnosing and repairing faults on lighting, power distribution, control panels, and BMS systems\n\n * Supporting building services systems including:\n – AHUs, FCUs, pumps, motors, fans, extract systems, and HVAC plant\n\n * Assisting with statutory compliance and completing accurate shift reports/logs\n\n * Collaborating with a professional multi-skilled team to maintain high standards in a 24/7 operation\n\nRequirements:\n\n * NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or Maintenance (or equivalent e.g. City & Guilds, BTEC)\n\n * 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (essential)\n\n * Solid experience in commercial building maintenance, ideally in a high-rise or critical environment\n\n * Confident maintaining general building services plant (AHUs, pumps, motors, etc.)\n\n * Strong electrical fault-finding and problem-solving skills\n\n * Good communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented approach\n\nDesirable (Not Essential):\n\n * BMS monitoring experience\n\n * Mechanical knowledge or multi-skilled background\n\n * Experience working with HV systems\n\n * HVAP (High Voltage Authorised Person) training provided – AP bonus paid upon qualification\n\nPackage Includes:\n\n * Up to £54,000 basic salary (depending on experience)\n\n * Continental shift pattern: 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off\n\n * Christmas bonus\n\n * Authorised Person bonus post-HVAP training\n\n * 25 days holiday + bank holidays\n\n * Pension scheme, private medical cover, and training support\n\n * Career progression within a respected FM provider and a premium central London site
