Copello have partnered with an estabilshed engineering business based in Stevenage or Bristol, in the recruitment of an EMC Project Engineer.

About the Role You’ll be part of a project-focused EMC group working alongside engineering teams to ensure EMC requirements are well understood, implemented, and verified. This includes:

* Writing technical documentation (ERSs, EMC Control/Proving Plans)

* Supporting product development with EMC strategies

* Reviewing designs for EMC robustness

* Occasionally conducting informal testing or hands-on reviews

What You’ll Need

* Background in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or similar

* Understanding of EMC design principles

* Able to manage deadlines and work within budget

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Desirable:

* Familiarity with military EMC standards (e.g. Def Stan 59-41, MIL-STD-461, DO160, etc.)

* Previous experience in defence, aerospace, or similarly regulated sectors

Due to project requirements, candidates must be British Citizens or Dual UK Nationals. Security vetting (BPSS) will apply.
